I developed the following lists as a Roll of Honor to our Probasco ancestors that served in the armed forces. Having been the daughter of an Army Major myself, I know what it is to be a part of the armed forces, both in peacetime and war. I want to honor those Probasco men and women and let this serve as a tribute to those who served in the armed forces, to defend our country and ensure our safety. In war, we honor those who fought our enemies for the ideals which we hold dear and the safety of our country, many even losing their lives. In peacetime, we honor those who quietly defended our country by preparing themselves and being ever ready to defend our country should the need arise. Even now when I see one of our citizens in armed forces uniform, I have the highest regard for them and what they represent to our country.
